Final Reflection

As I remember all of the posts I've had to write over this semester, I remember being very intimidated by the Idea Napkin and the first assignment where we had to interview people which was My Hypothesis Pt. 1 I believe. I was so proud of myself after I interviewed all of the people I needed to. However, I was dismayed to find I had to do that again and again for weeks and weeks afterwards. The madness would never stop! But, as I've said multiple times, it's been good for me to pick up some proficiency in gaining information from people and how to effectively communicate with others. I feel really inspired to make a new product and potentially start a company from that, but I don't know if I have what it takes. My networking skills are poor and I know that's something that is crucial to any start-up. Forming an Opportunity Belief

1. People out of high school often have a hard time making new friends. 2.   As an adult, it is very hard to make friends at school or in the workplace. It’s even harder when you’re shy or introverted, like me. However, these are the people who want friendship the most because it’s made harder by age to make close friends. Other people hold the key. This need I feel has been prevalent since the beginning of jobs and big groups of strange people. Everyone has different way to meet the need, whether it’s give up and be a lone wolf, make online friends, join a club, or stick with friends they have already made. Halfway Reflection

1)      Tenaciousness is a competency.  What are the behaviors that you have used (or developed) to keep up with the requirements of this course?  I know that it’ll take me extra time to do assignments, especially ones that involve interviews, so as soon as one assignment is turned in, the next Monday I immediately start writing questions to ask and contacting people to get an interview so I have a full five days to get the number of people I need. Also, I carve out time each week to watch the lectures as well as poring over my notes before each cupcake. 2)      Tenaciousness is also about attitude.  Talk about a moment or two when you felt like "giving up."
